I'm crawling out of my internet cave to make my obligatory ACen post. ACen. It's this weekend. I will be there. All three days. Having fun. And maybe swimming. Because seriously, what's the point of a hotel pool if you don't use it? Exactly. Anyway, I hope everyone who goes has a great time, and everyone who misses it doesn't spend too much time hiding in their closet crying. On a completely unrelated note, I will try to make some more comics (and scan the ones I do have lying around) sometime in the near future. I must finish all the books I have left to read before the people who recommended them to me kill me for dragging my heels T

As you may have guessed, this past weekend was kind of awesome. I hung out all day Friday and Saturday with my co-worker and her step-sister at C2E2 in Chicago. C2E2 stands for "Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo," which is really just an official sounding title for "Mass Comic Nerd Gathering." It was great fun. There were tons of publishers and artists at the con, as well as a few fiction writers and FUNimation. I got to attend a panel run by Jeff Smith about his past and upcoming works, hear a FUNimation presenter mock the inevitability of new Dragonball Z releases, see a "motion comic" for the first time (meh), win a bag of swag from the
